On 29 August 2026, ILSA Chapter UNS successfully held its Open House, an introductory event designed to welcome and introduce prospective members to the organization. The event served as an opportunity for participants to learn more about ILSA Chapter UNS, including its values, activities, programs, and the various experiences that members can gain throughout their journey in the organization.
The Open House was not only intended as an introduction to ILSA Chapter UNS, but also as a space for prospective members to interact with existing members, gain new insights, and experience the atmosphere of ILSA firsthand. Through a series of informative and interactive sessions, participants were encouraged to explore their interests, develop their potential, and become familiar with the academic and non-academic activities carried out within the organization.
The event began with a warm welcoming speech delivered by the President of ILSA Chapter UNS. In the opening session, the President introduced ILSA Chapter UNS and shared an overview of the organization and the values that serve as the foundation of its activities. Prospective members were also warmly invited to become part of ILSA’s journey and contribute to the organization’s future.
Following the President’s remarks, the Person in Charge of the Open House took the stage to provide further information regarding the event. The session also introduced participants to the series of activities they would experience throughout the Open House, allowing them to better understand the purpose and flow of the event.
The event continued with the screening of an ILSA Chapter UNS profile video. Through the video, participants were introduced to the organization’s journey, values, activities, and achievements. The presentation provided prospective members with a visual overview of ILSA Chapter UNS and offered a deeper understanding of the organization’s identity and the experiences it provides for its members.
The profile video also highlighted the various opportunities available within ILSA Chapter UNS, giving participants a broader perspective on how they can become involved and develop themselves through organizational activities. This session helped create a stronger connection between prospective members and the organization before moving on to the next session.
The Open House then continued with an engaging talkshow featuring discussions about ILSA Chapter UNS and the experiences of being part of the organization. The session provided prospective members with the opportunity to gain insights directly from the speakers and learn more about the activities, opportunities, and experiences that members may encounter during their journey in ILSA.
In addition to sharing information, the talkshow became a meaningful space for interaction. One of the highlights of the Open House was the Oral Pleading demonstration. The session introduced prospective members to one of ILSA Chapter UNS’s activities and provided them with a closer look at how legal arguments can be prepared, structured, and delivered in a persuasive manner.
The demonstration highlighted several skills that are important for law students, including legal reasoning, critical thinking, confidence, communication, and the ability to organize arguments effectively.
